Facilitating the collaborative process with a multi-age group requires a careful balancing of ideas. Adults identified the theme while students provided input for the design. I facilitated drawing sessions with them based on poetry I selected by Mary Oliver and Richard Lewis. I used their drawings as core material in creating a final design. Everyone participated in producing the mural.
