I consider all public art to be of a collaborative nature because more than one person enters into the decision-making process at most steps of the project. Collaborations can take many different forms. I have experience in facilitating each type, including collaborations that invite design, thematic, or concept input to collaborations that are completely hands-on from concept to completed product. My style of fabrication follow a shared-leadership model - each person’s input and idea is important. Progress is achieved through group consensus. Part of the collaborating process always includes establishing working agreements that each member honors as we move forward with the work.
